COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How much concrete is used for the terminal posts (gate, end, and corner posts)?
Steadman Fence uses 80 - 100 lbs of concrete per hole to ensure fence stability
What is the diameter of the terminal posts?
Each terminal post is generally 1 7/8 diameter for residential projects
How far apart are line posts set?
Line posts are set at 10 ft apart from each other, unless certain circumstances
What is tension wire?
This is an optional feature that can be added to your fence for an additional $1/ft. This wire reinforces the bottom of a chain link fence and helps prevent the bottom from 'pulling' up if an animal tries to push the fabric out and away from the fence line. This wire runs between terminal posts, i.e. end post, corner post, and/or gate post and is in-between the line (intermediate) posts and the chain link fabric.
